The building has a beautiful courtyard and garden, is located in a very quiet neighborhood, only 5 minutes away from Central, Inman and Harvard Sq. This is a lovely well furnished sunny room on the 2nd floor of a large two floor apartment facing a park and across from the Green Line D train in a safe area of Brookline. I live on the 3rd floor and the two rooms I rent are on the 2nd floor. Both rooms share a bathroom and an entrance to the outside hallway so my living space and my tenants spaces are separate. We all share a washer and dryer. Room has a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot ( all new). I am a retired college professor who travels about half of the year so the people I rent to should be very responsible and reliable. I usually have responsible or beyond and since I share the washer and dryer on the 2nd floor I prefer a woman. This is an especially good place for someone who really is into studying, although guests are certainly permitted and moderate parties are acceptable. There is no smoking and no pets but a safe and very pleasant space.
