In the events that disagreements come up between roommates, we recommend you have a set procedure for resolving conflicts rather than using the 'screaming match' method. You may want to try sitting down all roommates with an impartial mediator or giving each other a certain amount of time to speak and then turning it over to the other roommate. Some use a 'talking stick'; something that you hold and only the roommate holding it may speak. It's a good idea to have a plan in place before you have a roommate packing their bags.
