Murray Hill Overview

Murray Hill is the Eastside residential neighborhood of Midtown. Peaceful and super convenient to anywhere in Manhattan, Murray Hill residents can walk to Midtown work, a Broadway Play or a restaurant in Union Square, and still return home to a quiet community. Kips Bay, the Eastern part of Murray Hill, is the most peaceful and residential.

Murray Hill Residents & Culture
Keeping with the residential culture, Murray Hill has plenty of good restaurants, but shopping and entertainment is a 10 minute walk in any direction. Murray Hill's residents are predominately middle aged, Midtown professionals that take pleasure in their local cafes and convenience to Midtown.

Murray Hill Residences & Rents
Murray Hill is filled with some of Manhattan's beautiful residences: luxurious high-rises, stylish townhouses, and well maintained apartment buildings and brownstones. Murray Hill living is not cheap, but reasonable when compared to its neighbors, Chelsea and Gramercy Park.

Murray Hill Transportation & Commuting
Murray Hill's central location make intra-city travel effortless. However, like most Eastside areas, Subways become less accessible the further East you go. Buses are regular and convenient and make a suitable substitutes. Commuting out of Manhattan via the FDR is also manageable from here.
