Laurelton Overview
Laurelton, Queens was named after the Laurelton Land Company which first started to develop the area.  Before the development of the land the area was a beautiful serine in environment, fill with fresh water ponds. Today, this area is primarily residential, with one and two family homes.

Laurelton Residents & Culture
Laurelton population grew in the early 1900's as German, Irish, Italian and Jewish immigrants settled here with intention of raising their children in a suburb.  Today, Laurelton predominately middle class neighborhood filled with newer immigrants from Hispanic and Asian descent.

Laurelton Residences & Rents
Laurelton mostly consists of one and two-family homes in Spanish and English Tudor styles.  General rents in the area include studio from $550-$700, one bedrooms from $750-$950, or two bedrooms from $1050-$1200.

In Laurelton you can catch the Long Island Rail Road, at 225th Street and 141st Road which should get you to Penn Station in 35 minutes.
