Your own private, l a r g e, clean and bright room ****************************************

in a about 700 total sqft apt. which takes up the entire 1st floor in a well-managed, quiet 4-floor brownstone building.

Share kitchen & bath with myself only and have your morning coffee or evening drink in the private backyar . Utilities (about $65 for normal use) are not incl. but high-speed cable Wi-Fi. Sorry, theres no TV in the apt but Spectrum access is in place if you want it. 3 cats live here also.

The rental room is larger than it appears in the photo, the bed is queen size, the mattress is vintage 2017.

Im a personable guy and I like conversation if you like it. If youre new in the city, I offer advice and tips on how to make your stay in the Big City more interesting, easier and perhaps more affordable.

Youd be staying in a rapidly changing, and yes, safe neighborhood:
The Shopping Center East River Plaza, that holds Target, Costco, Starbucks, Burlington, Aldi is just 3 walking minutes from my apt. And theres also a new Planet Fitness which, at $10/mo really is a bargain. This mall and gentrification have changed this funky nhood - quo vadis? Rents are going up but so have restaurants, bars, cafes... Still, expect most daily everythings to be cheaper than in any other part of Manhattan.

Ive lived in this apt since 2006, in this nhood since 98 and in NYCity much longer: Originally from Zurich, Switzerland, Im a freelance designer/writer & art director and I work out of home. Currently, Im engaged w artists from Cuba (and the ever-changing situation on the island...) as their representative/dealer

To come and go:
Theres a bus stop 1 min. from here to get to Lex./116th & no 6 local subway or you could walk there along busy 116th St. & which would take you approx. 10 min.

Im sure you have questions - please ask. Thanks for reading all this and good luck in your search.
